I wish that I knew about this when I lived in NC. I lived along the coast and never got the chance to fall inn love with the mountains of North Carolina.

We are in NY, and we escape south to get out of the winter. i did have a chance to go to NC on Tuesday for the day for a meeting, and it was gorgeous.. the weather was 80 but not too hot.. i would move in a minute, if my wife allowed it.

I was just in the Smokies myself last week! Soooo gorgeous! I definitely know how you feel about getting out of Florida!
